For the last 10 years, we have been assisting employment practitioners to place more people into sustainable employment, as well as helping their leaders develop the coaching skills to support their staff.

From the employment practitioner’s perspective, we understand that although your job is rewarding, it has its challenges. We get that it's nerve-racking to pick up the phone and make that cold call to employers. We get that many times your jobseeker would rather be somewhere else than sitting across the desk from you. And, we also get that it's not easy keeping someone in sustainable employment.

We also understand that it’s not easy being an employment services leader. Many times, your performance is dependent on how your staff perform. There’s a lot of pressure to stay above a certain star rating and continue to help your employment practitioners get placements for your ESA.

That’s why we have created training and coaching programs that are tailored to both employment practitioners and their leaders. We don't believe that training is a one-time event, but continuous implementation, and repetition. As well as empowering leaders to be able to foster a work environment of mentoring, coaching and learning.

Meet our Lead Trainer and Coach

For the past 10 + years Rana has helped thousands of employment practitioners and job seekers in employment services learn how to sell. Whether it's to sell their services and job seekers to employers, or helping job seekers sell themselves into a job. She has won several awards for placing the most people into work, as well as awards in ‘innovation’ in her training workshops.
​
One of Rana’s favourite things to hear when coaching employment practitioners is when they tell her just how much they are now enjoying picking up the phone and making reverse marketing calls. Or watching employment practitioners making a difference in their job seekers lives because they applied some of the skills they had learned on her courses.
Because of her L&D background in combination with sales, she focuses on creating learning that sticks. Through creating tailored learning sessions, in-depth learning needs analysis, as well as having an understanding of adult learning principles, she’s able to create outstanding learning experiences and outcomes. But most importantly, she understands and applies the principles of change management to her sales training programs, because without change, the learner will simply walk out of the training not feeling inspired to implement the learning.

Rana is the founder of both Employment Services Training and The Selling Academy. One of the main reasons Rana started Employment Services Training in 2013 was because she understood the frustrations and challenges that employment practitioners face daily, especially when it comes to reverse marketing & sales. Her goal is to bridge the gap between altruism and sales skills in this industry.
